Swim Coach Arrested for Pursuing Student (R News)
Police arrested a local high school diving coach they say pursued a romantic relationship with a female student. Gates police charged Michael Bond, 25, with endangering the welfare of a child. An investigator said Bond continuously pursued a romantic relationship with the girl for more than a month.

Emergency agencies in Monroe County and the City of Rochester have a new communications tool. A mobile communications unit will be taken to where an emergency or incident is taking place and provide live real time pictures and sound for emergency personnel.

Man Pleads Not Guilty in Fatal Stabbing (R News)
A Rochester man was arraigned Thursday on murder charges. Kevin Frye, 21, pleaded not guilty. Police charged Frye in the late September stabbing death of Wesley Scott, 68.
